Questions about electricity costs from JoshiesWorld

I am looking for your answers to quite a lot of questions, especially if you reside in the eastern United States, such as Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. If you do live in any of these states: Where do you live (please do not pinpoint for your safety, just the state, and is it north, south, west, or east of that state)? Who is your electricity provider? Is that the only electricity provider in your area? Is that for your home, your business, or both? How are you with the cost of your electricity? Significantly increased charge, cheaper, stays the same, or struggling to afford it? What’s the cost compared to last year, and now so far this year? Is your electricity getting better or worse (reliability, lower outages, etc.)? Do you think that the cost of your electricity is justified or reasonable? If it is, or not, why? Do you think the government should intervene in electricity companies’ pricing decisions? Do you have anything additional to say, have a comment, express your opinion on this matter, or anything else related to your electricity or your electricity provider? If so, please share them. This may be for an article I am writing, so I would greatly appreciate your answers! There are a few ways that you…

Happy Easter and Happy Passover 2026!

I have made a post on all of my social media, wishing everyone a happy Easter and a happy Passover on April 5th, 2026. I was planning to write a short letter here on JoshiesWorld’s website and on my personal website, JoshuaBSullivan.com. I could not do so that day, as I was occupied, but I told myself that I would eventually publish a quick, small letter, so here it is in case you missed a post from JoshiesWorld where I was wishing everyone a happy Easter and a happy Passover! Happy Easter, and Happy Passover! May your day be filled with joy and peace! 🐰✝️✡️ Note: It took me hours to make this picture until I was satisfied, and I did so in recognition of not only Easter but also Passover. I did this picture from my heart! I made the text “Happy Easter” filled with colored eggs, the “and” filled with spring flowers, and the “Happy Passover” filled with matzah (which is unleavened bread, an integral element of the passover). Then I tried to think of everything related to both Easter and Passover, which is why you see the Star of David, eggs, bunnies, stars, butterflies, a cross, etc. Here is the post that I made on social media on that day. It’s not the government, it’s scammers!

Pay attention, it’s not the government, it’s scammers! Some of you may have received text messages, social media messages, or even phone calls claiming they are a government agency or work for a certain government agency. Like I just got a text message earlier today telling me that the Kentucky District Court Traffic Division is summoning me by a judge named Michael Harlan, and my case number states that if I fail to appear or pay, it will result in immediate bench warrant issuance and license suspension, so I had better resolve it immediately. I also saw a similar post from someone else, but theirs was from the Kentucky State Police (KSP). If you received a text message or even a phone call like this, or any similar to these in the screenshots I took, which you will see below, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT click any link because if you did, they will be demanding that you pay them, which is one of their way to scam people. If anyone from the Kentucky District Court Traffic Division, or a state law enforcement summons you or requests that you appear at a court, a police station, or any government building, they do not text. They would either send you a document by mail or visit you in person (if…

Thank you, everyone, for birthday wishes!

I have seen all, if not most, of the posts and the comments from different people wishing me a happy birthday, and I am truly humbled by it. I wish I could reply to each one of them to thank them for their wishes, but that would take me many hours because I’d have to go through individual posts wishing me a happy birthday, through comments that wished me a happy birthday in someone else’s posts that wished me a happy birthday, and so on. So, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone for wishing me a happy birthday today, and as I said, I am truly humbled by it. I had a good birthday today. My mom made me a delicious German cake, which I requested for my birthday, and I saw both of my uncles, Ronnie and Johnny, who stopped by to wish me a happy birthday. I have received some gifts that they didn’t have to, but I did, from my mother, both of my uncles, Chad, and my mamaw on my dad’s side of the family. I have taken pictures of the cake and the food, which I may share with everyone tomorrow, if I am able. I have just turned 39 years old today, just one year away…

O-M-Cheese Burger from Applebee’s Grill + Bar

The other day, on March 2, 2026, my mother, Chad, and I decided to go out for an early dinner instead of cooking at home. Since we were already in Pikeville, Kentucky, running an errand, we stopped by Applebee’s Grill + Bar. I noticed a new item on the menu I wanted to try, and Chad was curious about it too—the O-M-Cheese Burger. The O-M-Cheese Burger is served in a sizzling skillet of molten queso and a blend of cheddar cheeses. The all-beef burger is topped with American cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, and spicy honey mustard, with fries on the side. Before our burgers arrived, Chad ordered some appetizers for the table: Brew Pub Pretzels & Beer Cheese Dip and Spinach & Artichoke Dip (a free appetizer, a $25 deal for two O-M-Cheese Burgers). I decided to skip the appetizers, so I wouldn’t get too full before my burger arrived. For a drink, I ordered a Sugar-Free Red Bull. Normally, I prefer Monster Energy Zero, but since Applebee’s didn’t have it, Red Bull was the next best option. The O-M-Cheese Burger is priced at $11.99, but the Pikeville location was offering a deal: two O-M-Cheese Burgers and one free appetizer for $25. Chad and I decided to take advantage of that offer. Keep in mind that the O-M-Cheese Burger is a…

Mix 02-19-2026

I have decided to start drafting the new Mix article. There are a few topics I would like to address. I hope there are at least a few topics you might be interested in reading about in this new Mix article. Here is the list of topics that will be mentioned. I have no idea when I will publish this Mix article, and I also don’t know how many topics it will end up including, because I sometimes add a few more after I’ve already saved the topics I had planned for the Mix article or a separate article. If you prefer to read only a few topics you may be interested in instead of the entire article, you can do that by clicking the topic you want to read, and it will take you directly to that topic. Or if you don’t have enough time to read the entire article, you can come back to this article at a later time, and press/click the topic where you stopped so that you can resume reading this Mix article. Mix 02-19-2026 Topics List. Let’s start with me first! Lately, I am doing a-okay. Not too long ago, I went to my semiannual check-up (every half a year), and I was honestly dreading it because I knew I was overdue for a…

Danville Police killed a Deaf Kentuckian

A 29-year-old Deaf person named Cody Wayne Downey of Russell Springs, from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, was shot dead by the police in Danville, Kentucky, about a couple of weeks ago, on January 11th, 2026, at Center Estates Apartments, where he resided. According to the Danville police, Danville dispatch received a 911 emergency call around 9:30 PM on January 11th, and the caller reported that there was a man who was attempting to commit suicide with a knife at Center Estates Apartments. According to the caller who made the 911 call to the Danville dispatch, the man was claiming to be harming himself, sending some pictures of his injuries to that caller through social media. The news is saying that the officers in Danville, Ky, went to his apartment for a welfare/safety check, and the police breached his apartment’s door, stating that the reason for doing so was to provide aid. The police say they have made contact with Cody Downey from outside of his apartment, and repeatedly commanded Cody Downey to drop the knife. The police said that Cody Downey came out of his apartment with a knife, and running toward Danville officers, he knocked one of them to the ground. One of the Danville officers grabbed his gun and then shot Cody Downey in the chest up close.…
